NH Hotels is a Spanish-based international hotel chain with more than 800 hotels. The group also has a large number of restaurants.

Requirement

NH Hotels wanted something very specific from ValueProof: to increase the number of bookings for weekends on the NH website. The site drew a good number of visitors, but the rate of conversion of visitors to actual bookings needed to be improved.

Approach

ValueProof analysed the existing website. On the relevant pages it looked at what content was offered and in what way. The booking process was also examined.
From this analysis we distilled the following solutions: 

 
  • Development of a more powerful homepage with clear buying reasons for the customer and attractive and more concrete photography.

  • Simplification of the booking process. 

Result

 

After the changes were made, the flow of visitors through to the site after the homepage increased enormously to 275,000 page views. The booking process now has a much higher conversion rate. And in just three months the number of bookings has risen by 312%!
